Squirrels in Museum Gardens
On an afternoon of wandering the Streets of York, filling time to get the most out of an expensive car parking ticket, My Boyfriend and I discovered that the squirrels in The Museum Gardens were very friendly and that they were cheeky enough to climb up and steal food from unsuspecting victims. As a result of this and being unable to get close enough to photograph them without anything interesting for them to eat, we came up with a plan to return at the weekend, armed.
So, on Saturday 2nd October, 2010, we returned, mid afternoon, with pockets full of peanuts and cobnuts. Needless to say, the little critters took the bait and ran with it, quite literally. Here are the best of the resultant photographs from the visit.
